The Cuisine - A Dance Floor For Magic Aromas

One single meal in La Mandragora restaurant will convince you to return every time you want to be treated with the most appetizing dishes. The experience, philosophy and creativity of Paul Peter Kopij, the chef who cooks in a cosmopolite style, are the key ingredients that make the food served in La Mandragora different from any other place in Bucharest or the world.

The dinner menu contains 12 dishes and is based on the French cuisine principles, to which Paul adds from other cultures elements that considers fit. He always plays with ingredients and fresh spices, trying new combinations. More an inventor than a traditional chef, Paul is attended by a team of seven cooks and assistants who help him implement his culinary creations. And because excellent food should always be accompanied by the right drink, the wine list is impressive and contains only best quality varieties, correctly preserved in the restaurant’s dedicated refrigerators.

Constancy and attention to details are defining for La Mandragora. If you return after three years and order the same dish, it will be exactly the same as the first time you enjoyed it. Because what Paul and his team do is not at all arbitrary.

The setting, cuisine and philosophy of this place show that La Mandragora is more than a simple restaurant - it’s a spectacular experience.
